Create Announcement

1. Navigate to Announcements

   • Go to Community > Announcement.

   • Click the Announcement button.

2. Enter Announcement Details

   • Complete the following fields:

   • Announcement Title – Enter a clear title for the announcement.

   • Announcement Image Banner (Optional) – Upload an image related to or supporting your announcement.

   • The image, once uploaded, will appear at the top of the announcement page.

   • Pop-up Display – Enabled by default, so users can easily view the announcement upon logging in to the PropTech mobile app.

   • Pop-up Display Schedule – By default, this is set to the creation date. Update the schedule if needed.

   • Details – Enter the main content of the announcement.

   • If you want to include files uploaded in the File Library, insert the URL as a link. (See How to Create a Link for instructions.)

3. Save or Preview the Announcement

   • Click Save to temporarily save the announcement as a draft.

   • Click Preview to view the announcement from a user’s perspective in the mobile app.

4. Publish the Announcement

   • Review the details and edit if necessary.

   • Once finalized, click Publish.

   • The announcement will then be visible to all mobile app users.

5. Edit or Revise Announcements

   • If an announcement needs revisions after publishing, click Revert to Draft.

6. View Announcement Status

   • Announcements are organized into tabs:

     • Upcoming – Draft and scheduled announcements.

     • Past – Current and old announcements.

     • All – Displays all announcements.

1. On the announcement field, highlight the word that will serve as a clickable link.

2. Click the link icon or key in CTRL + K

3. The Link Info tab will be displayed

If the reference is from the File Library:

a. Go to the PropTech Files Library menu and select the specific file.

b. The file will be displayed via a web browse

c. Copy the file's URL.

If the reference is from another online source,

a. Open the specific online file.

b. It should contain any shareable link or URL.

c. Copy the file's link or URL.

4. Go back to the Link Info tab screen, and in the URL field, paste the URL of the file.

5. Click OK to save

6. The highlighted word becomes a clickable link.

7.  The link, once clicked, will display the online file.
